Our family had grown and we wanted a larger house with a big yard. [We also hoped to be in a specific neighbourhood.] We were watching the market for new listings that could work for us. Gary sent us the information on a house and yard in a neighbourhood that could suited us. We looked at it twice, thought about it and made an offer on it. There was another offer we were competing with: the Sellers accepted our offer. We worked our way thru the Inspection process with some issues. I had worked with Gary when I purchased the 2 bedroom Condominium years ago. For the last few years I have been living out of the area and decided it was time to sell the unit. It had been rented. Gary and I had been discussing the details of selling the unit with a tenant in place. He informed me that he has sold tenanted properties previously and knew the process. We notified the tenant, discussed the showing arrangements and possibilities for the tenant involved in the sale. I listed the unit and Gary stayed in touch with me each week regarding the showings. We had received a call that a suite was ready to move into at the Assisted Living Complex. My son had called Gary earlier to discuss preparing my Townhouse for selling when the time was right. I moved to the Assisted Living, my children cleaned out my Townhouse and we listed it. Gary kept us updated each week on the showings and the comments from the showings as well as sales of similar Townhouses. In time, the right Buyers looked at the Townhouse and made an offer. Another chapter of life. Our parents moved out of their Condo into Full Time Care. We contacted Gary to advise us in the sale of their Condo. We cleaned it out and listed it. There were showings. Gary kept us informed and also on current sales. He advised that we paint the interior and upgrade some flooring. We had it done. We also decided to adjust the price to the changing market to make it competitive with other listings in the building. After more showings we received an offer. Gary met with us and our parents to present and negotiate the price. Once accepted, we were kept informed till the subject clauses were removed. Satisfaction was here!
